Would Not RecommendPlastic is cheap. Inside tabs break easily and the flip out tabs need the screw pre-run into it. Save yourself the headache buy the blue carbon ones at hd.

Would Not RecommendI've bought several of these boxes and all had the same problem. The screw to tighten the tabs was almost impossible to turn so that you didn't know when the box was secure with shaking it. I've been using them on a 3/4' T&G wall but I don't think that should make a difference. Just poor quality.

Perfect single gang cut in box
Would RecommendI loved that they made the outside edges square again and didn’t have to have a paper pattern to cut the hole to get them to fit. The tabs could be just a little bit harder so as to not be able to break so easy when securing to wall and a stop could be added to back of screw to not be able to reverse off and loose the tabs but over all love these cut in boxes

Would RecommendThis Gang Box did not clamp well on the bottom. It has two clamps to attach to the drywall and one did not work properly.
