What Customers Are Saying
The replacement canopy covers are generally of poor quality compared to the original products. Many customers report the replacement covers are much thinner and less durable, often ripping or tearing within a couple years. The fabric feels more like cheap tarp material rather than high-quality canvas. Several customers note the replacement covers do not fit the frames as well, with issues securing the cover. While some were initially satisfied, the overall sentiment is these replacement covers are not worth the money and do not provide the same quality and durability as the originals.

pretty easy install i did it by myself in around 3 hours. i actually taped up the top of the poles since there where holes that i could see rain getting into from the top and rusting out the beams from the inside!
Not recommended in strong wind area
It was not the same canopy that came with the guezebo. We live in a strong wind area and the canopy get folded up and a possablity for damage by the wind.
Very Thin
Would Not RecommendIt’s VERY thin. I’m giving it one season. It’s not as heavy duty as the original, amd i strong wind, ripped that one apart.
Replacement canopy
Would RecommendI bought this for a 5-6 year old gazebo. The top tent was too small for the existing braces. So I had to use my old one. The bug screen on the new canopy is attached to the tent, instead of having Velcro on the actual canopy. So it’s a little hanky. I draped the new tent over the old tent and tied it down. So we will see if it stays in the wind. I wish there was better pictures on the web site so I would have known these things. But overall the canopy fits tight and seems secure.

Fit correctly and will give us cover for several more years
replacement gazebo cover
Would RecommendThe Garden Winds gazebo cover is a perfect replacement for my 10 x 10 frame. Its durable and fits tightly. Velcro anchors and corners.
Not the direct replacement cover
Would Not Recommendthe cover sent is no way the same as the original. we have to take it off everytime it rains. I have decided to put the old ones back on. At least they don't hold water.
Great little canopy
Would RecommendThis works great, it takes 2 people to assemble, about 2 hours I had everything laid out and unwrapped before we started. After 2 years it is showing wear on the material for the canopy I just bought a new one, it didn't like the last wind storm and one of the bottom rails bent slightly. Still works.
cheaply made, poor quality
Would Not RecommendIf I had saved my receipt, I would of sent it back! Cheap material and its big for the frame. Just really unhappy with the product.
Don't buy this canopy
Would Not RecommendWe have owned this canopy for about 5 years now and have had to replace the cover 3 times. The frame is in good shape but the cover is very poorly made. Given there is only one cover that fits and it is fairly expensive, I would not buy the canopy again. Unfortunate because we like the look of it and the frame is fine.
Poor Quality
Would Not RecommendWe replaced our old cover with the Garden Winds Riplock 350 1 Beige Canopy Replacement Top... It lasted about 5 days before one of the eyelets ripped thru the fabric during a mild thunderstorm with light to moderate winds. I am not sure if there was a flaw in the single item we received or if it is a widespread quality issue with the product and design.
Very easy to put together, instructions are right on and it is well build.
Poor Quality Replacement Canopy
Would Not RecommendPurchased this canopy so we'd have a backup when the original canopy wears out. The original is heavy duty and has a nice natural color. This replacement canopy is not the same as original (Not even close). It's a different fabric, lighter, ugly light beige color, thin, and flimsy. Advertised as replacement canopy for Lowes Item #878763 pergola Model # L-PG152PST-B. Where is Allen Roth and how can we order replacement parts of original factory quality? Even a good aftermarket manufacturer...
Tent Like Material ripped
Would Not RecommendI had the original canopy for 3 years. Best investment, since I paid about $300. The canopy finally ripped with the wind storms we have here in Dallas Texas. So I bought the replacement canopy. This was horrible. It's not the same material, but more tent like material. The very first storm we had, the thing ripped. I took 3 of us to go outside, in the middle of the night, to take it down so it didn't accidentally break a window during the storm.
Perfect Fit but much thinner than original
Would RecommendReview is for the Rip-Lock 500 cover. I ordered this replacement cover and right out of the box a section of double stitching was already pulled apart. I went back to the MFG and sent them pictures and they immediately replaced the cover second day priority. That’s a plus. The cover fits perfectly. Plus. It’s also available in more colors. Plus. Now for some real deal- The eyelets that the screws and cams go through are aluminum. The fabric has pulled out of all 4 of the main eyelets where the s...
