What Customers Are Saying
The replacement canopy covers are generally of poor quality compared to the original products. Many customers report the replacement covers are much thinner and less durable, often ripping or tearing within a couple years. The fabric feels more like cheap tarp material rather than high-quality canvas. Several customers note the replacement covers do not fit the frames as well, with issues securing the cover. While some were initially satisfied, the overall sentiment is these replacement covers are not worth the money and do not provide the same quality and durability as the originals.

Would Not RecommendI’ve gone through three of these and each one has lasted 6 months, maybe. They are cheaply made and cost a small fortune. The grommets fall out and the material then tears making the canopy useless. It’s a shame the pergola frame is still in good shape but I cannot bring myself to spend anymore money on another canopy. And I purchase the top of the line canopy thinking it would last as long as the original canopy. Don’t waste your money. Also, there is only ONE company making this canopy.
Yes and no recommendation...Easy to use but.....
Would RecommendTHese are very easy to open and close. But the fabic is horrible, they faded within the first 60 days. Pity they dont offer replacements in a better quality fabric.
NOT RECOMMENDED AT ANY PRICE!
Old replacement covers of better quality and much cheaper. Lasted at least 1 and a half years in Florida sun. I purchased this replacement cover, VERY THIN, VERY WEAK, ripped out grommet after only 2 Months. Going to get a fabric company to build a quality one instead. Believe me, if you buy this cover you will be throwing your money away and you will be very frustrated as I have been.
Why is the replacement canopy so thin and almost like vinyl. The original was canvas and very thick. Not sure this will last very long as it is so thin. Will know in the spring.
Wow price has doubled for this replacement canopy
Would Not RecommendLove my gazebo the replacement canopy was $79.00 now its $149.00
Great umbrella
Would RecommendSecond one I’ve owned. Great umbrella at a good price.
Does not fit
Same problem as all other reviews. Does not fit the umbrella it states it should. No response or alternative suggestions from Lowes. It's a pretty clear message they just want you to buy a whole new umbrella!!
leaks at joints
Would RecommendThis is a very heavy, sturdy pergola...we love it...but water gets into the joints on the arches and leaks rusty water. It stained my composite decking, furniture, and rug. We had to try to dry it out and apply silicone at the joints...hoping it works. It was very difficult to assemble, so taking it down and returning it did not seem like a viable option.
not the same canopy
This is not the same quality that came with the gazebo originally. It is thin and the sun light comes through hot. It is like a think tarp..that tears at the rings.do not recommend. Perhaps get a pattern off it and take to a boat shop to have it made in canvas??
Can Lowe’s respond to the other customers so we know what we can use to replace our older umbrellas?
Garden Girl
Would RecommendBought my umbrella like each of you 3 + years ago . Umbrella great fabric (red faded immediately)Treat with water proofing on future purchases. Answer for the two customer that bought Garden Winds replacement umbrellas- Three years ago Lowes sold Garden Treasures Offset umbrellas. That is the brand I purchased. You can buy thru Lowes and return if it does not fit. You can look up The vendor but they are not in the US. Hopefully Lowes customer care will follow up with each of you.
Canopy
Would RecommendBought the unit last year and wanted a replacement canopy when the original canopy wears out.
Replacement cover rip off.
Would Not RecommendThe listing imply's that its great material but it is just basic junk. 2 years ago the replacement cost was $49.00. Now its $149. Poorly made at a ripoff cost.
It Works, Better Than Nothing.
Would RecommendThe old canopy was a thicker canvas, Tan on top & dark brown on bottom. The replacement canopy is a thin vinyl tarp type material tan on both sides. I wish I could have gotten the same canopy that came with the Gazebo. There are no options. You get what is available. Time will tell how long this will last. My original canopy lasted 8 years. I am grateful that at least a replacement canopy was available for my perfectly good Gazebo. It fits as it should. It still looks good. Just wish I had a ch...
Same Problem - Doesn't Fit Red Lowes Umbrella
Would Not RecommendLike the other reviewer, I too bought a Red w Tier umbrella from Lowes a couple of years ago. (I actually bought 3 of them). The frames are still in great shape, but the umbrella fabric is too weathered to use anymore. This replacement canopy does NOT fit. Lowes has no recommendations for canopies that will fit....
Replacement Canopy
Would Recommendlove that I don't have to buy a whole new gazebo every year. Love that these are in stock and wonderful price. This is the 2second one in 4 yrs.
