Five button remote should be included in original system purchase!
The 5 button remote is fine. I have two of them now. However, I wonder though, how many people who purchase the gate system and receive the three button remote along with it end up ordering the five button remote? It seems that the party feature is almost at essential feature and so I think the five button remote should be included with your purchase. Remote has long range in sight of view of 430 feet from the gate to my house and it was easy to program from my existing remote.

We had a few troubles making sure we had all the right components to install on our existing chainlink gate, but once done, seems to be working fine. However solar doesn't keep batteries up good enough here in gloomy Oregon. Have to recharge with electric once every couple months.
