GE Coil Stove

So far I'm very pleased with this stove. I initially opted for the ceramic top stove, but when the top cracked it cost just as much to replace the whole stove rather than repair the top. I'm sticking with coils. I may be old school, but this works a lot better.

After my ceramic top on my other stove cracked, and it was going to cost just as much to fix it than buy a new one, I decided to go back to the coils. So far so good. The ceramic top stoves look cool, but honestly that's about it. I really disliked it.

The filaments heat up fast and working excellently good.

I'm having many problems with this range. Am in the process of getting a serviceman to come and see.

High Quality and Practical Range

I like the simplicity of my range. The oven heats up quickly and bakes my food evenly and at the correct temperatures. I like the coil burners on the stove, because I'm able to use all my old pots and pans on them, even if they are not perfectly flat on the bottom. My new range is attractive and looks clean and bright.

No longer using hot plates, microwave & toaster.

After having used hot plates, a microwave and toaster oven, having a working stove & oven is a blessing. But in this case a double blessing as it was given by our church.

Great affordable stove oven

I love my new stove oven. It’s very nice that it has a built in timer, coil burners that can be removed and replaced if necessary instead of flat top ovens and the stainless steel black color helps the digital clock on the oven panel to pop, making it easy to see.

Reliable, basic, workhorse! That's what we wanted!

We needed a basic but reliable range and that's what we got! We do a ton of cooking and didn't want to go for the flat/glass tops as they get scratched and start looking bad. So we went with coil. We also wanted to stay with electric because of all the buzz on the negatives about gas ranges. Our appliance works great! Although it is basic, it is sturdy and reliable and can take the load of heavy cooking!

Do not like auto cut feature. Wish you have options to choose from coils.

GE MAKES GREAT STOVES WOULD BUY AGAIN .I AM A APARTMENT MANAGER AND I NEED IT TO LAST A LONG TIME AND THEY DO.

I really like the stove and it works great though I have only used it for about 8 days. Design comments stove display for oven use displays turn on to start backing but is should display push START. In my opinion the stoves bottom drawer should have the pull out handle on the face of the stove for easier use. I would buy again so I can live with what I consider could have been made better.

Great oven, sensi coils should be optional

Great oven!! Preheats quickly.. We changed out the sensi coils with regular coils because I wanted more control over the heating and cutting off of the stove units. Still have the sensi coils it came with. The smaller coils do not fit securely but larger ones are fine and fit nice. Changing to sensi coils was not necessary!!! For years and years I have used regular coils and they worked just fine. Must have common sense to cook anything. Could you tell me how to get a regular coil to fit p...

Good stove

I really love the stove......but gave it 3 stars because i had to buy 4 new burner coils to replace the factory ones because of the "sensors".....couldn't even boil water????? GET RID IF THOSE SENSORS IN THE BURNERS!!!
