Misleading description

Good product but not good enough. Box says it is soft white color but in reality it is more like bright white. Also it is not bright enough. I always think of soft white as warm yellowish color bright enough to be pleasant. This one is cold white quite dimmed light. Is this always that bad with LED lights. I think incandescent lights were mush brighter and warmer than these ones. Quite disappointing

Terrible Quality

We purchased 6 strands last year. 3 of the strands no longer work. I tested the three which worked (prior to installing on a house), 1 week later another 2 strands are dead. It is not the fuse which is bad either. These are just terrible quality. I can appreciate the manufacturer offers to replace them, but who has time to replace poor quality multiple times.

DO NOT BUY!

these are junk and stop working completely. GE needs to be sued for scamming the public like this and leaving this defective product on the shelves. also they won't help you unless you have the original receipt.

Look great, but only 1yr use

These lights look great. I've had them the last 2 years going into this year. HOWEVER, I've now had to replace at least 1 of the 2 sets at the start of each season, including this year having to replace both. Even the small GE 300 lights suck. DO NOT BUY

After 1 year they do not work

Not what I expected from GE or Lowes. Bought 8 strings of lights worked great the first year. Put them up on my roof line thinking they were fine, only to plug them in and not work. Wasted many hours checking each led bulb. Replacement bulbs don't even fit the string. Had to rob from a different string to get enough back on the roof. 3 strings of lights I can't get to work. Way too expensive to be used 1 year and then thrown out. Extremely disappointed and upset at time and money wasted....

DO NOT BUY

We bought a ton of sets of the Multicolor LEDs for our house and yard- looked great the first year, but that money has gone down the drain, as all but one set did not work this year. SO DISAPPOINTED, Lowes should pull these from the shelves. We will not be repurchasing these, or any other lights from Lowes due to this experience.

Faulty Design

We have invested in these lights the past three years, and for the past three years have had to replace one or more sets. Mind you, we have only had these up for a few days, and one set is already on the brink.The description says they are indoor/outdoor; however they don‘t do well in wet conditions (see photo below). Looking closer at the actual design of the light, there is a hole at the top where water can get in. The lights are beautiful when they work, but are not worth the money and frustr...

Poor quality

I don't know why I continue to buy these other than the fact that they match the crap ones I already have. Every year I have to buy new ones to replace the ones that went out from the previous year. Im lucky if they make through ONE season. GE should be ashamed and have better quailty for the price.

Not warm white

Label states warm white but is definitely not. Stood out like a sore thumb against the other lights. Also directly out of the box, 3 random bulbs flashed while the others remained solid.
