Waste of money
Would Not RecommendSignificant problem with longevity / lights fail annually. Each year, we unpack the lights to find 25%+ strings not working or partially working. You can’t even consistently fix these by replacing the fuse or bulb. These lights have been a headache. I even contacted GE after this happened a second time and didn’t even receive a response. Save your money or get a different product.

Should not buy
Would Not RecommendThe C5 lights generally last one year. Tried replacing bulbs, even had an electrician look at them. By the time you realize you have an issue it’s too late to return ( next year) per Lowe’s and GE wants the receipts from a year ago. Have gone through 20 plus sets before giving up and getting lights from another home improvement store.

Not built to last
Would Not RecommendI purchased 2 reels of 150 each. On the second year about half stopped working. I bought 2 more reels 2024 and within about 3 weeks 1/4 stopped working. I tried to return them to Lowes but there were no more in stock., nor could I find them anywhere else. I have checked the fuses and spent the last hour replacing each unlit bulb with a known good one, all to no avail. I should also note that it is very difficult to replace bulbs without potential damage to the socket or existing bulb. Disappoint...

Would Not RecommendI have purchased 8 reels of these lights and all of them are bad after 1 season of use. Over $300 worth of lights that were properly stores in totes. Too expensive to replace ever year despite their "5 Year warranty" Very disappointing that we are now not ready for the holiday season
