7 strands broke

I bought 7 strands and in the first week, 3 quit working. Now 2 weeks later the other 4 gradually stopped working as well.

Bought 25 strings before Thanksgiving, Put up 24 boxes of theses and turned on Thanksgiving. They are plugged up in three different locations. In three weeks time 12 strings had only half of the string working. I had some of the same issues last year, Should not have bought theses again. Not a quality product. That was my mistake for buying a 2nd time. Will never buy again.

DEFECTIVE - DO NOT BUY

Bought five boxes of these lights for our home and when we opened the boxes, two of the strands didn’t light up. We even tried replacing the bulbs. We returned those two boxes for another two, which initially worked so we strung them on our home. Within less than two weeks, we already have three strands with defective lights that have went off (see pic) and it’s not even Christmas. I would not suggest buying these or any other GE lights.

Absolute Junk

I would give them ZERO stars if I could! My wife bought a case of these lights and we spent an entire evening running them all over our house. Just a few days in half a strand quit. We replaced that strand and now 2 days later 2 other strands have half the lights out. Nothing like spending hundreds on lights and half of them not working a full week!

I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone

I bought 24 box's for my home 7 string went out with then 3 day's in Nov 29th 2021 strings started going out dec 1 2021 so sad

Fit in perfectly with my existing lights

Fit in perfectly with my existing lights. I don't know why they are being discontinued at Lowes.

Half didn’t work out of the box. They do not hang.

Not warm white

Wish I read the reviews prior to buying them haha. Definitely not warm white and do not match our other lights, unfortunately.

3 out 7 strands quit after 1 week.

no weird weather, no rain, no freezing temps, no temp above 72. Lights are on gutters and strands failed in different areas, 2 at beginning of the strand other one at end. That failure rate is 42%. So I bought 6 to replace 3.

Attempting to match whites is a fool’s errand

Just a heads up, if you were thinking these would match the warm white version of GE LEDs you purchased in the past 5 years, they do not. Box says warm white but I think it’s clear here that they come off more clear.

Different Color White

Purchased 5 strands of the exact same lights (confirmed item numbers on each box). They are different levels of brightness even though the box claims they are identical. So irritating. Thanks GE for all the extra work....will need to take them down.

Lasted one season

I used these outdoors for one season and they looked great, though a few strands would go off at times. I just hung them up for the second year, and about every other strand has lights that do not come on. It is a real pain to figure out which bulb is bad and to replace it. This is complicated by the fact that GE seems to have used two different styles of bulb connectors within the same strand! Each strand comes with two different styles of spare bulbs. crap quality short life

Bought 3 sets. Nice warm white color. Worked for only one season until half of one string stopped working. Not the first time of short lifespan. GE name no longer means anything except higher price.Reliability of icicle light strings in general is terrible.

Used these one year for about 5 weeks. Stored them inside once the holidays were over as to protect them from weather. This year got them out to put them up and 4 out of 5 sets do not work. DO NOT BUY. JUNK
