water and ice taste good

I have no idea how well this filters water but it tastes good.

Finally changed it

After replacing the pipes in my house I realized it was the same water filter in my fridge since I bought the appliance. We really should change them more often. I felt better about having my family drink tap water after. Good investment but not cheap.

I bought this a month ago and it impedes the water flow so so much we have reverted to buying bottled water.

Profile Refrigerator

My refrigerator (Profile)is 12 years old and is a great disappointment in several ways.. I have had numerous repairs. I have always had almost only GE products. I ordered 3 filters in Sept. this year and installed one immediately after receipt.After three weeks the light showed red, meaning the filter was supposed to be replaced. How long are these filters supposed to last? Please advise.

Works as advertised

It definitely helped to watch a video beforehand to learn the proper way to install the water filter. Saved a lot of aggravation. Would be better if the filter was less expensive but otherwise I'm very satisfied.
