Would Not RecommendI bought the exact style of filter that was supposed to have fit in my refrigerator. However, it didn't fit properly, i was unable to install it properly and consequently the water was unable to filter through into the ice maker. What was delivered to me doesn't look like what is in the photo. A colossal disappointment and waste of money.

GSWF Design Change
The shoulders inside the filter are shorter than earlier iterations. The latest filter won’t fully actuate the water valve. I added some o-rings to make up the difference and got it to work. The latest are labeled GSWF but have MSWF in the description.

Defective filter

Would Not RecommendI was not crazy about it. first it only does ice cubes, no water. second the installation probably did not seat correctly and I had to figure out what was wrong. A pain but never had this problem with other GE filter in refrigerators
