Old reliable and perfect reheat feature
Would RecommendLargest capacity of a microwave I've ever owned. Controls are intuitive and easy to read. Does a great job cooking food to temperature. The "reheat" feature is fabulous and does such a nice job keeping food moist and heated throughout. Installation was done by builder and was a breeze.

Worst microwave ever.
Our GE microwave (plus another new trim kit, of course) was purchased in August 2023. Operating the door has always been loud and annoying. In the last couple of months, the safety switch in the door seems to be malfunctioning. At first there would be an occasional problem with heating. Broken latch on door!!
Door latch broke in only 8 months. Had to have it serviced 2x's. Terrible door latch and microwave should have a handle. Fingerprints all the time. Very annoying!

Burnt after 4 years, light and smoke, stay away.
Would Not RecommendBought this to replace earlier model which was not built anymore. Had to buy new trim that time, that’s a separate issue in itself z Coming back to this one. This one Worked for 4 years fine, now it flashes with burned smoke and is useless tin. GE can’t manufacture these and expect people to keep buying it. This should be a recalled product. Looks like this model is also replaced now. Will that be another new trim kit ? And which model is replacing this one. Thanks

Burnt after two years of mediocre performance
Would Not RecommendQuit working after 2 years. Now the microwave just arcs in the side panel and makes a loud buzzing noise with arc flash and smoke when I try to use it. No I'm not putting metal in it. I can't believe I have to replace this expensive thing after only two years of mediocre service.

Hate this microwave
Would Not RecommendI don't like this microwave at all. The start button being in the middle makes no sense. The door loudly shuts and it sticks. You have use 2 hands to open the microwave because you have to lift up on the door while you push the button. We've even taken the door off and worked on it to no avail

Would Not RecommendNo instructions in the box. Did not allow me to choose the beverage size today. I will let you know more issues as they arise since I just installed last night. My last one only lasted 5years, but since it's a built in, I bought the same one so I don't have to get a newtrim kit

Costly to fix or replace
Would Not RecommendSmoke is coming from the lightbulb in the microwave after 4 years of light usage. I understand the solution from GE is to refer to getting it serviced, but they will not quote the cost. I'm frustrated as a service is most likely the same price as replacing new, and these microwaves are costly to install. This microwave came installed with my new build home.
