I LOVE THE PRODUCT, IT IS MODERN. HAVE GREAT FEATURES. I AM NEW IN HOUSE IHAVE BEEN USING FOR A SHORT PERIOD BUT MY OPPINION IS IT IS BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS.

Sparking and unsafe to use after 2 years

Selected this microwave when meeting with our builder’s design center, the full Profile line. Worked great just over 2 years (June 2023) then suddenly started sparking inside 2-5 seconds after starting it, with no metal inside. The light was flashing on and off with the sparks and it left a dark mark on the plate on the inside. I cleaned it thoroughly and it worked for the next 2 uses, but then started sparking again with loud electrical sound and the light going on and off after 3 seconds. Huge...

Terrible microwave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have replaced multiple parts on this microwave since owning it. Now the microwave won't spin and heat up anymore. Now it's going to require another part and servicing again! I'm tired of calling and buying replacement parts. It has basically cost me another microwave at this point. Extremely disappointed in this model and wish it was better. We don't use the microwave much and yet the repairs have been crazy.

Terrible - Dead

This microwave is Terrible. The microwave died on us. Really unhappy.

DO NOT BUY

Something this expensive should really last more than 2 years. Very disappointed as I thought GE was supposed to be a good brand. Will not buy another product.

Wonderful and doesnt break

Disappointed

It looks stylish and sleek, fitting into the kitchen with the rest of my ge appliances. A couple of moths ago it stated making a strange noise but stopped (intermittent for about a week). GE products are extremely harmful for mental peace

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most crappiest product ever, over last 4 years, 2 of the same microwave have stopped working. The latest one was purchased June 2024 and its more unresponsive than the Mail Box pillar. GE products are extremely harmful for mental peace and the non existent after sales support will drag one to grave

Stopped working after 7 months

After 7 months the microwave stopped heating food. The plate spins, the light works and the electronic display appears to work normally. Useless.

Sparking Do NOT Purchase

Terrible microwave. It came with my house and looks nice but after 2 years it is already broken. The microwave started sparking and poses a huge fire hazard. Something this expensive should not break in 2 years. It also seems like there is some paint or coating the chips easily on the inside. I have never used any chemicals to clean my microwave either.

Noisy mess - now useless

This thing started making a horrible grinding noise out of nowhere, and not long after, it just flat-out stopped heating. Seriously? I’ve only had it for 4 years — and I didn’t even use it that heavily. For the price, this shouldn’t be happening. It’s beyond frustrating when something you rely on just decides to quit. Done with this brand. Not worth the money or the hassle.

Rattles

The turntable rattles when in use. It is less than four years old. It’s probably the drive motor but it’s out of warranty and not worth fixing. My last GE microwave lasted for several years. I purchased multiple appliances together online through GE. So far only the wall oven and dishwasher have been ok. Never again.

Great features

Terrible! Sparks and Zapping!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Within the warranty period we had this microwave repaired 3x and replaced once. It's having problems again and will need to be replaced, again, though unfortunately it's just out of warranty this time. At this point, I can say there is a design flaw that makes it so there is sparks and zapping. It seems to start on occasion (especially while melting butter!) and then gets worse until you can't microwave anything.

Don’t recommend

Noticed condensation inside not too long after we purchased, then within a year and a half it stopped heating

RUST

Rust inside after only two years of indoor use! Rust falling into our food!! GE said they would reach out to and of course have heard nothing! Oh yeah and can I replace nope! Discontinued

Great microwave! Sleek design. Works great!

It is amazing! Very pretty visually and works wonders! It is really simple to manage the controls on it. The dimensions are standard so fits great in all new homes. Does not consume too much power. And fits standard plates great, very spacious. Great capacity and functionality.

Easy to use and so quiet!

It was in my new house and I’m so pleased with its function. Also esthetically pleasing

Bad microwave, caught fire

Caught fire within a year of use when tried to heat food on microwave safe dishes.
