replacement bulbs $4.50 EACH

I put these lights up last year no problem. Stored lights on original reel, installed this year, 3 or more bulbs not working. The set comes with 2 extra bulbs. after replacing 2 bad bulbs, string still not fully working. GE website sells the bulbs for $4.49 EACH. I am an electrician so I know how to troubleshoot these problems. Since no other bulb is compatible with this string it is now useless unless I want to spring for another $20 or more to replace bad bulbs. LEDS are supposed to be hardy a...

only worked for 1 year

We bought these in 2021 used them for holiday season, stored on reels in our garage and now 2022 and only 2 of the 6 strands we bought will work. Have replaced fuses and checked bulbs. GE is exchanging for us but we have to pay shipping to get them back to GE. We have spent $250 on these lights so far now have to pay shipping - would not buy again. Too expensive for only one season of lights.

Not what I would call warm white.

GE does make some geuninely warm white that are near the softness of incandescent bulbs, these however are not anywhere close. These were too bright and too white.

Looks great when they work

I have purchased a lot of these sets and some similar but for some reason I have 4 sets that will not turn on. I have changed the fuses and inspected the lines but cannot figure out why the will not turn in. They do look great when the work.

Not a good experience

Last Christmas I bought 10 sets of the 150 LED warm white lights. Specifically selected them because of the GE brand and was looking for a quality product. Got them out today and was so excited to start my holiday decorations. So disappointed that 5 of the 10 purchased would not even light up. Tried replacing the fuse ….and still nothing! Multi-Colored Lights are so cheery!

These lights are perfect, bright, and so cherry. We used them to wrap tree trunks and the light put off was gorgeous. So glad we went with the lights with the purple bulbs in addition to the traditional Christmas colors.

Stopped working after 1 year

I bought 10 strands of these lights over the past 2 years. This year, 3 strands are already completed dead, and the others all have at least 10 lights each that are out. These are not exactly cheap, and I didn't think I was buying a poor product. I cannot recommend anyone buy these. Please stay away!

Nice but misleading

Good quality lights, but way too bright white. I saw other review responses about how these technically fall in the “warm white” category, but they aren’t what we expected at all. If you have an astigmatism or other light sensitivities I’d skip these for indoor use.

Don't Waste Your $$

We purchased seven strands of these lights and spent several hours installing on our 25' pine tree. The tree looked beautiful when first lit... within three weeks some strands started going out. Sometimes they would come back on very dim. VERY Disappointing!!! And speaking of disappointing.... Lowes refused to take them back after December 26th.

Good for 1 year of careful use

Looked great the first year 2020, Next year one of the 2 strings was dead. didn't have time to get replacement before Christmas. Paid more for the quality product, but was disappointing

Disappointed

I bought 4 of these. One didn't work right from the start the second one lasted for two months then died.

Less warm than incandescent, but good durability.

Overall seems good. We had one blow out a bulb from a strand we purchased last year, but a squirrel is to blame. The only other thing I would add is that the ‘warm’ title is a little off, especially if you compare to normal incandescent. But a great Christmas tree light, and very sturdy!

worst customer service too

Within two weeks of putting these lights up, strands were out. They want you to mail them back to them ON YOUR DIME - YOU have to pay shipping and hope they can fix the item. No thanks. Ill return them to Lowes. Save your money and buy another brand. GE is a joke!!!

Bright, durable, and a good color temperature!

I've been using these for years in the Northeast and Midwest. -They are definitely bright enough! -Power usage is impressive. -They handle bulb loss pretty well and stay lit. -Durable as all heck. One year, I left my Christmas lights up for the entire year. This meant they were subjected to the baking sun on 95+ degree days during the summer. Next Christmas rolled around and they fired up with no problem. The plastic covers were a little discolored from UV damage, but other than that, I've had ...
