Failed lights throughout

We were originally very excited to have these lights on our home. We purchased 3 reels in November of 2023. We were unable to hang them in 2025 due to all strands having excessive amounts of failed lights.

Stopped working after 1 use

I bought these and used them christmas 2023. Stored them in a Christmas light spool. I moved and didn't use them in 2024. I took them out to test for this year and the entire spool doesn't work. Don't buy these.

Junk with a Sham Warranty

I've bought 7 strings of these over the past 3 years. Christmas 2023, when I went to decorate one of the strings that I had purchased in 2022 didn't work. Rather than mess with them, I just bought another string and threw the bad one away. Christmas 2024, another dead string, and it was the new one I had bought in 2023. Junk and Lowe's will not accept returns

I purchased two of rolls of these this year and one last year at the end of the season. After 5 weeks on our outside tree only about half of the lights were working. The lights get water inside the outer bulb casing and the inner LED lights stop working. It's too bad because the colors are great. I tried to return two of them to Lowes (I passed on the previous year roll) and was told they do not accept any return of X-mas decorations period. Nostalgia in the lights

Grow back lights if olde were a hit and so easy to hang on tree. One strand of 100 decorated 9ft full tree.

Didnt last 30 days but looked great until then

We bought 2 sets to try them out. One set lasted until the first rain (about a week) then the second set started working intermittently. Total time on the house was less than one month and this was the first season we used them. You can bet it will be the last. GE products are not worth the premium any longer. Dont get me started about our GE appliances

They stop working.

I bought three sets. Two have stopped working in three years.

The lights were easy to install, and they have all remained illuminated since installation.

Should be Zero Stars

Have had these lights for 3 years in a row now using them on two houses. Loved them for the look but all three years had to replace at least two strings or spend forever discerning which LEDs needed replaced or if it was water damaged. Don't last at all in West Virginia mild winter conditions let alone harsh conditions, even heavy rain seems to take them out. I know have 3 of 4 strands on my house dead. Never buying them again and would recommend they stop even being carried but dollars talk mor...

Manufacturer Error

I can't speak to the longevity of the lights, but every bulb was on the wrong colored light. The blue bulb was on the green lights, the green bulb was on the blue lights, the white bulb was on the red light, and the red bulb was on the white light. I was able to fix them, but it demonstrated very poor quality control.

Avoid! Terrible, single use lights

Trust me and all the other 1-star reviews. These lights are terrible value for the money. Each of the last three years I’ve bought strands of these lights put them up, taken them down, stored them carefully only to find that the next year half the strands are totally dead. Not wanting mismatching lights I end up buying another strand. But after multiple years of this I realize it was just throwing good money after bad. Don’t be fooled by the GE name or price.
