GE Dishwasher review

Great dishwasher for the price. Has the 3rd top rack which can be used for utensils and flat stuff. This unit does not have the insulation blanket but is super quiet. Getting used to the controls being at the top. Washes well and nice looking. Racks accommodate all size dishes, glasses and includes the bottle washers.

Don't like it at all

Just moved on the 1st, it's the 15 and the dish washer is already not working and giving a C code.

NOT WORKING

Quit working shortly after using it. Waiting on repairs and hopefully will be fully covered under the warranty.

Delivery Mishap

Whoever's bright idea it was at the facility that processed my order, of a brand new dishwasher, and decided to load the truck with an open box used item, and deliver it to my house is a new one to me. This review is mainly on the processing plant, than the item itself, which I am replacing it's older model with, which only lasted 5 years, before it stopped working. So if it were to match that, my rating would be about 3 stars for reliability. Hopefully someone with some actual pull will see ...

Door seal leaks

This is the second machine being installed in a one month period. The first one leaked and we accepted a return and replacement. The door seal does not go around the door in one piece, the bottom section of the gasket is a separate piece. I will probably have to replace this new one with a different brand. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Shame on Lowe's

This item was delivered dripping water and it was supposed to be brand new. We purchased installation and Lowe's had glitch and could not see it on their end. Then when we try to install this leaky item, it is missing a part and we noticed it is dented on the back. Shame on Lowe's for this. We tried reaching out to customer support and they told us to try again tomorrow.

Really Quiet But Third Rack Useless

We purchased this dishwasher because of the recessed handle and front controls. This works better with our kitchen set up. It washes fine and is really quiet. The first couple of times, I had to make sure I had started it because I couldn't hear it. My previous dishwasher was GE and did not have the 3rd rack. I thought it may be a neat feature. Washes great when it works

It constantly stops working and requires the breaker to be turned off and back on to reset it. The mother bord had to be replaced withing the first 3 months and now needs it again. When it works it washes great, but having to reset it or have a repairman work on it is very frustrating.

This dishwasher is incredibly quiet. I love the three racks and even the end of cycle song!

Did not last 2 years

Our dishwasher worked great at the beginning but before we had it for two years, we started noticing how our dishes will not clean. Sometimes it will get stuck at the beginning of the cycle and will not continue.

Banging noise

Rotating piece that sprays water is sloppy loose and hits something. We can't figure out what. Also, base plate that covers the front bottom does not come anywhere near fitting the bolt holes. Trying to figure out a work around. Our old Whirlpool held much more. On the bright side, our new dishwasher is insanely quiet!

Good dishwasher for the money

We like the way it looks also we like that it's very quiet.

Quiet

Love the quiet and energy efficient. Swift Appliance is true to their name. Darius and Eric were true gentlemen. They cleaned up after the job, friendly and respectful.

Great replacement

I replaced an old dishwasher with this one. The old one had a plastic tub and this one has a stainless one. I love the new one it does a great job and the noise level is also great.

Very Good

This dishwasher is very nice. It is very quiet and just hums along and does its job. I love it. The 3rd rack is really convenient to use. I have no complaints.

Works great and looks great. Just one tiny issue.

Overall the dishwasher works well. I do feel that the run times are a fair amount longer than my last dishwasher and i have an issue with the bottom tray. It doesn't roll smoothly in and out - I have to push in the utensil holder in because the hook of the holder gets caught on the frame stopping the tray from rolling in smoothly.
