Would Not Recommendi bough 8 bulbs and 4 were dead on arrival or blew out blue smoke. Don't waste your time. All were wired for ballast bypass. I know it isn't a wiring issue because I got better quality bulbs from a local electrical supply house and they dropped in and worked fine.

Would RecommendEasy to modify the wiring and install. No more ballasts!! Much brighter. Only complaint is the instructions say to install the label stating that the new type of bulbs to prevent installing the old type. There was no label included.

These lights allow you to select from 3 color temperatures. I ended up using 6500 K, the brightest setting and a very bright white, great for a work area. Please note that these bulbs will not work in a fixture with a ballast, but if you're comfortable doing wiring, it's easy to rewire the fixture to bypass the ballast. There are YouTube videos explaining how. Remember to take your old ballast to a e-waste site. They're full of toxic chemicals and don't belong in a landfill.

I had a fluorescent fixture from the 80s that used T12 bulbs. The fluorescent lights would barely glow, even when I installed new fluorescent bulbs which I knew to be good. Also, the bulbs from the fixture worked fine in a different light fixture. So I assumed the ballast was bad. I decided to remove the ballast and direct wire it to accept these Type B LED lights.
