Great Product

Much better and less expensive than replacing ballast. Plans are to replace remaining fixtures that have ballasts. LED brightened up the room considerably.

What shade of nasty blue do you want?

You get to choose! Ugly blue, worse blue, or vomit inducing ultra blue! Do these people think I live in a warehouse? What homeowner wants to be blasted by nauseating blue light in their home? Why is there no soft white or warm white option? It's just 3 terrible shades of blue. No thanks.

Get rid of that ballast, and buy the type B tubes.

Finally! When I turn on the switch, I get illumination each and every time! Saw the “how to “ concerning the ballast by pass. That was a piece of cake to accomplish. Direct replacement LED tubes are a failure! Chop out that ballast (watch the YOUTUBE video”) and purchase the type B LED tubes at Lowe’s.

We were impressed with how much the electrical clerk knew about bulbs. We came in to get a ballast and he told us it would make more sense to direct wire the lights and get these bulbs

Installed easily - wish was brighter

I bought these to replace florescent bulbs when the ballast (apparently) failed. I tried the 'Toggled' brand first, but they need all wires run to one end - so had to return them and got these. Went right in! I do wish these were brighter than 1800 lumens, as florescent tubes are supposedly 2300 lumens (GE does sell 3000 lumen bulbs, but cost +30% and lifetime -30%)

EASY SWAP

Worked very well for swapping out old fluorescent tubes and doing away with ballast. Pretty straight forward change out if you have basic knowledge of electrical wiring, if not you should have an electrician take care of the swap.

Excellent Replacement for old Fluorescent Light

It was tricky to choose the right bulb, but this one is excellent. I didn't trust the old ballast, so I made sure to get a type B tube. This required me to bypass the ballast, so I removed it entirely. (Unfortunately, the old ballast is considered hazardous waste, so I have to go to the county waste disposal to get rid of it.) Once the bulbs were in place, it was a simple matter to select the correct color to please my wife, and the light works perfectly.
