Quiet and Powerful

So far so good. Relatively simple to install The hard part was removing the cheaply installed previous model. Installation went smoothly and the performance so far has been great and much quieter than our 1/3 HP model that we replaced.

Good for condo kitchen sink

I had this professionally installed; necessary for multi-unit condo building. I expect this will last many years with prudent use and care. My electrician recommended GE. Both my fridge and cook stove are years-long-in-reliable-use GE appliances!

effective yet quieter than most garbage diposals

Hook up is more difficult than anticipated. It requires both electrical and plumbing. I don't know why it is designed for a dish washer to feed into the garbage disposal as well (since the dishwasher didn't need a disposal prior to this), and this was initially an issue because the force of water coming from the dish washer caused it's outlet connection to separate and leak. So that part of the system need to be secured for which the instructions did not address. Our professional installer ...

Works well so far. Never had one before so new to me and to get use to it. I do like the fact that I have one.

It's ok.

Product works well but, it sounds like its going to come apart when dish water is draining while the disposal is running. Lot of vibration!

Great disposal

This is a replacement for the GE disposal that came with the home when we bought it. The old one lasted 15 years so I naturally chose GE (as I did the dishwasher I replaced 2 months ago). It was a 20 minute job start to finish and the disposal is so quiet you would hardly know it was on. Good job GE.
