Nice lights

I like the GE color effects led light strings I purchased. I only wish the lights could be toned down a bit. My biggest issue though is the box is misleading because it says 7 colors 53 functions. In reality there are 8 modes on the box. My autisic grandson who loves Christmas lights was highly dissappointed.

Very cool! Love the remote and features

The lights are a good size (larger than the old school small glass bulbs you're used to but not too much larger.) Coloring is really nice - bright LEDs that can be any color it seems. sync issues are horrid..... some receivers work better than others, some transmitters work better than others..... some light sets do not play well with others.... with six sets laid out on our living room floor, i have spent close to 4 hours figuring out which remote works best, and which light set to be the first in the string..... do the math..... something like 72 combinations...... i gave it a 3 star average rating...... 1 star for syncing issues, 5 star for what GE for making an effort.....

Love/Hate

We have a love-hate relationship with these lights. Bought these because they had the (what used to be called) slow-glow and had so many other functions. The many color combinations are beautiful. We love the way the lights change from one color to another but, we would really love them if they lasted more than one cycle through! This is the hate!!!! They go out of sync. Frequently. Looks nice outside, although I think that the purple bulb looks out of place with the other Christmas colors, but my husband loves it!

Great lights but won’t stay in sync

The lights are great but when using more than one links together they will not stay in sync. They start out ok and slowly each strings will do something different. I looked it up on the GE site and this is a common complaint.

Do NOT buy these lights!

These lights seem like a great idea and we wanted something we could leave up and change the colors for different holidays throughout the year. Unfortunatey they dont last longer than two weeks before bulbs start going out and entire sections are dark. They send two replacement bulbs per pack of lights and those go quickly. The bulbs dont only burn out, but the connecting wires inside get rusted and corroded and soon replacing the bulbs isnt going to cut it. Dont bother calling customer se...

Met and exceeded our expectations

I've read through a lot of reviews on these lights and took the risk of getting them despite mixed reviews. I bought 3 sets of these lights and attached them to our roof. They look great, have a ton of functions and I would use these lights starting in October for Halloween and keep them through New Years. Now, the only issue is that if you have a long house where the sensors are spread apart, you'll need to be some distance away from the house to get ALL of the lights to sync. If not, you wil...
