Lovely colors

Beautiful color selection and combinations. Difficult to sync with remote and you need to create a signal barrier for the remote between strands, once accomplished they stay coordinated. First year with these lights and can not comment on longevity for that reason.

Doesn’t sync well

Forget trying to sync multiple lights. If you’re using this outdoors, there’s no way you’ll get them all on the same settling unless you do no flashing/patterns, only static lights. Even on the tree (which is how we’re using it), the different sets eventually don’t sync and then some strands are off.

These do not sync when connected

These lights do not sync when they're connected. So unless you want multiple strands with different colors and all doing different things - don't buy these.

Difficult to sync multiple sets

Purchased 8 sets of these lights for the sole purpose of changing colors and patterns AND to connect up to 5 sets. So any remote for all the sets works but on some strands it turns them off while turning others on. Changing. the colors and one strand goes green another goes red, VERY HARD to get all in the same color. And some lights just randomly are a different color in the strand. Not all the time, not always the same light, but annoying as can be.

Another 1 season light

We seem to buy top rated brands with the same results. Out of 4 boxes, 3 of them have a section out. We only had them on the house for 5 weeks.

Problems with lights burning out

At first, I really liked the looks of these lights. We brought 5 strands to use on our tree however I quickly learned that even though one remote would work all five strands, it became a real problem to get them to all change to the same mode unless you were right on top of the tree and even then some times they wouldn't all change modes at the same time. Did not Last

I purchased 3 sets of these lights prior to Christmas. About a week after putting them on my roof, half of one set quit working. I tested every bulb but still could not get it to work. I returned that set. Within 2 weeks, the other 2 sets did the same thing. Half of the string just quit working! stopped working

I had these lights for less than a month and half of the string stopped working. Tried to identify the one light that went off but realized that none of the two replacement bulbs works. One doesn’t fit, the other doesn’t work.

One Strand Wonder

These lifhts are wonderful...if you only have one strand. Each strand comes with a remote and its own transponder built in the circuit. One remote can control every strand you have, which is nice. What makes these lights terrible are when some transponders respond to the remote signal and some do not, and IF you manage to finally get every strand on the correct mode and color together, they start to de-sync with each other and you have strands fading or changing colors before the others. Nice lights but they don't synch as expected

Nice lights but the remote control doesn't work well when multiple sets are strung together. They get out of synch. Once I finally got them to synch, I plugged them into a sensor and I don't use the remote control. If they could perfect the synchronization when multiple sets are strung together, they would be great. I do love the colors. I bought these to replace a different set which was cheaper but they turned out to have the same issue.

Very Innovative Lights

The programming options for both pattern and color with these lights is amazing, and properly tuned, allows you to create a unique and appropriate look. Just keep in mind when you use multiple strings (I used 8) you need to choose your pattern and color one string at a time as the provided remote will change colors and patterns for all 8 of them. Great lights

These lights are great and I love the variety. We did notice a couple of the outer bulbs were broken so luckily it came with extras. It was also a little confusing to get the two strands on the same color choices. We still love the lights and love that we have so many light choices.

Complete and utter garbage

These bulbs were up for a week when half of the light strip no longer worked, and one bulb's cover came off, I guess in the wind? don't buy these; you'll regret it like I did. This item is a total waste of money. I'd expect better from GE.

Lights won't sync and remotes won't either

I bought three sets of lights from lowes and the lights never sync with each other. I dealt with the issue for two years but now I put the lights on my tree and none of the remotes work with the lights!!! The batteries are good in each remote but will not turn the lights on/off or change the light pattern. Terrible! Quit working after first year!

I bought these lights. I bought 5 boxes for $199 and they worked great then first-year, however the lights no longer work! GE expects you to send them back at your own cost for them to "troubleshoot and fix" Save yourself money and buy the cheap lights because GE doesn't stand behind their expensive lights!

Great For Indoor Tree

This review is for a single set on a 7 foot pencil tree that takes up minimal space in an apartment. So far I am very pleased with this set and can’t make my mind up what I want to see!
