Burned up in old fixture

Bought two of these to retrofit an old (1970's vintage) desk lamp. After perhaps ten hours of use, the internal ballast burned up (lots of stinky smoke) and took the external ballast with it. Lamp and bulb now junk.

Great replacement for fluorescent fixture

I purchased two of these 18inch leds for my bathroom mirror. Each bulb is in a single fixture. These leds light instantly and they run cool. I keep these lights on 24/7 and I couldn't ask for anything better. My fixtures use the old magnetic ballast and starter. One end of the led tube says it is for magnetic and electronic ballasts. Got to buy some spares for the future.

Don’t buy this product doesn’t last!!!

Liked the idea of lasting a long time; however day 2 the daylight setting burned out next day the night time setting burned out. Not worth the money

Room For Improvement

Price is right and I like the concept of being able to switch between color temps, but this light flickers a little if it's not seated just right on the color temp sliding switch and sometimes I have to bump the fixture to get the light to turn on. So, it's acceptable, but I would rather have a set color temp version for the same price.

Better if you didn't need a ballast at all

Why would I want bulbs that require a special type of ballast or a ballast at all that will eventually burn out and have to be replaced? All my other LED tubes don't require a ballast at all.

Does not work

These bulbs burned up my ballast even though the package says they are a direct replacement. Ballast tested good before installing these new bulbs.

Bad

Says it is a direct replacement for 32W fluorescent but burned up my ballast after 1 minute of use. Ballast was perfectly fine and tested good up until putting these bulbs in.

Unique LED bulb

This allows you to choose your color temperature! I've never seen this on a "light bulb" but I like.

Great

Replaced a fluorescent tube in the range hood. The color adjustment switch is on one side and happened be impossible to get to the first time I installed the bulb. So I had to pull it out, turn it 180 degrees and redo so I could select what color I wanted (ended up choosing the warmest). The fixture in the range hood was a little sticky so it wasn’t easy to install. Very happy in the end. Instant on and bright! Hope it lasts!

Finally found these!

I've been waiting a long time for the replacement LED T8 tubes and these worked perfectly with my ballasted fixtures. They turn on INSTANTLY which and are brighter than the slow florescent bulbs they replaced. I would only change two things for future iterations. First, it would be nice if they were dimmable. Second, all three Kelvin choices are on the cool side (4K being the lowest setting) and it would be nice to have some of the more standard warmer settings such as 3,000 or 3500K. But, ...

LED Tube lite Bulb

This Led tube bulb is hands down the Best against any florescent tube ever.. you can adjust the color enhancement which really does change the light enhancement.. ( had my doubts untill I tried it), as each of my regular florescent tubes burn out I Will Replace all of them, Heck maybe Before they burn out Why Wait !!!
