Loud!

I never write reviews. This washer has gone down hill so fast! We have owned it for 2.5 years and it is the loudest washer! It sounds like a plane taking off! It also is now leaking water from the front. Why can’t GE stand up to their product?

warranty is not really a warranty, dead after 4yrs

motor bearing failed after 5 years, but since motor still runs its not a "failed Part" abd still have to pay labor which is the same as buying a new machine which is likely GE intention

Does a great job!

The washer does a great job cleaning items and is quiet. Lots of good features too. Love the energy savings!

love all the energy saving features, plus use little detergent and clothes are cleaner then I've ever had. which saves even more cash.

So many setting options. Super quiet.

I have never had a washer that I have been so happy with. I select the soil option, the temperature and the spin speed. Add the detergent, press Start knowing the clothes will be super clean when finished. It is really quiet also.

To new to fully rate but this washer has everything you could desire! And Energy Effecient too.

Horrible experience

I am on my second dead unit in just two years. The first died in 8 months and was replaced with a new machine. The second dies in 13 months, now waiting for parts and repair that I am sure will not fix the problem. This is a defective model. I have owned many GE appliances and this is the worst ever.

LARGE CAPACITY

Great large capacity washer. Handles giant loads of towel and blankets no problem.

Service

Has already needed service and is still not working right. I’m hoping they’re able to fix/replace it.

Very smooth and quiet

Installed 3 mouth ago... Running smooth, and efficient... Sounds like a very reliable product!

Easy to use

I love the preset cycles, and the addition of small load. The washer work great. The addition of the vent at the back of the dispenser drawer reduces odors and mold growth. However, we quickly broke the drawer latch. The replacement was very inexpensive.

Love this washer & dryer

Both washer and dryer have great features. I purchased the stack kit and have them in a small laundry room. They are quiet and highly efficient.

love this washer so far. gets your clothes really clean and an really extracts the water out so the dry time is minimal.

I like all of the features such as the the various cycle modes and the clothes are clean.

Great Washer!

This washer does what I expected it to do. It is quiet, does a great job getting our laundry clean, and the Tub Clean feature is wonderful for keeping the tub from getting mildew and mold build-up.

Huge inside

We were looking for a big washer because we've got a big family. This does so many clothes in one load without a problem. We love the color and style, the load options, the light for the interior, etc.

Spin cycle is far too aggressive

The spin cycle is far too aggressive when it starts to spins the washer is level and balanced. I also have to keep the door open to let dry out prevent smelling molding on the rubber.

Works great

So far so good. Less vibration than our previous washer.

Bigger wash tub!

So far the machine is working great! The only thing I've noticed is the only way you can use the pods of detergent is to throw it in the tub with the laundry, they don't dissolve when using the drawer area for detergent, bleach, and softener, they gum up and I had to clean the drawer out.

Great Capacity

There are some nagging issue that plague this model - the detergent and softener dispenser. Early on the tab broke on it - the reason I was even dealing with the tab was to remove it to clean out PERSISTENT MOLD that grows in there. I've had NUMEROUS GE machines (moved a fair amount) and this is the only one with that problem. Got a new dispenser after the tab broke and same problem. Since I have an extended warranty, I'm going to have that addressed as well as the new problem with the control k...
