New Washer

The old washer was making noises. The repair technician recommended this, and the price was good. We found a lovely variety of wash cycles and adjustments, and have been delighted with it these six months.

I love my new wash machine from GE, it's pretty quiet, doesn't use much water or electricity, easy to use and I know in the future I'll be able to get the parts and support to fix it at a reasonable cost if it breaks so it will still be in service a long time, and still made in the USA too

I have to use it stacked - love it - perfect. Jist the right size.

Works great

This is a replacement for a Daewoo washer. Works great, cleans faster, and is actually quieter than I was expecting. I will be getting the matching dryer soon and possibly the stacking kit.

Good Washer, but bad stacking kit

I purchased GFWN1600JWW (washer) and GFDN160GJWW (dryer) for a rental unit that I own. These units are larger than the units they are replacing, and space is tight. I'm extremely disappointed with the stacking kit which requires rear access. In other words, you can't install the washer (bottom), then install the dryer on top with only front access. It's a horrible design. I'm giving the washer 2 stars because of the stacking kit which was clearly an after-thought.

My clothes have never been cleaner!

I've had a GE Front Loader Washer for about 15 yrs and have loved it. But it died and I decided to buy another GE Front Loader. It's even better than my first one! My clothes are cleaner and they come out of the washer much dryer than ever before. My only complaint is the noise! MY NEW WASHER

We are very happy. Our clothes are coming out cleaner than the last washer it replaces (also a front loader). The pre-soak setting is very good for removing stains. We stack a dryer on top of the washer. This washer has the benefit of a front panel that will allow a repairman to open it up and diagnose a problem without having to un-stack and completely take the washer apart.

Lots of Load Options On This Washer

We love this washer. Looks sleek and easy to use, lots of settings for different types of loads from gentle to heavy loads. Its also quieter than I expected. Very satisfied!
