Great washing machine but....

I ordered this online along with a pedestal. I asked live chat to find a pedestal that works with this washing machine and they did. Well turns out whatever name brand washer you buy, you have to have the same name brand pedestal, which lowes doesn't sell. The day the washer was delivered the guy informed me that they couldn't hook up my machine because the pedestal was wrong. Had to go to Home Depot and get the pedestal. Lucky for me, lowes was willing to pay the delivery fee. Finally ...

Great Washer and Dryer we love it. Clothes come out looking like new.

worked perfectly- only for 3 months

This product was great for the first 3 months we had it, and then began to occasionally stop mid-cycle. I thought maybe it was off balance with towels, etc and tried everything i could think of. By month 4 it wouldn't drain or spin at all. After having top-loading washers that lasted over a decade, this was a huge disappointment and i regret not buying a simpler appliance.

Total disaster!

The verb "wash" suggests water: wash your hands, clothes, car, etc., with water. On the premise of "saving water", this washer washes without water. Out of 8 washing cycles only during the "Delicates" cycle some water can be seen at the bottom of the bin. Not a drop of water is seen during other 7 cycles, however, somehow at the end of any of these cycles the laundry comes out wet. You have no control over this washer. The machine controls you. Little water

I don't like not being able to have more water. Doesn't have enough water for me but I like the features.

dispensers never empty fully SMELLS

not many cycle options, dispensers never empty fully (I follow the guidelines on types to use and amount to use in the machine). This is especially worrisome for the bleach if the following load(s) can't have bleach. IT SMELLS. I have followed every single online advice to clean and it still SMELLS. Sometimes laundry comes out smelling that had no smell at all when it went in. at least once to twice a week I do a white vinegar and baking soda wash, and another with bleach and hot water. ...

I belong to American Shield Home Warranty who replaced my old washer with the new one, a GE. It was defective in that the shocks were non-functioning. Called the warranty service and new parts were ordered and installed. The whole time it took was about two months.
