Good quality

This is identical, for the most part, as the previous microwave. Made it easy to use & matches my other GE appliances. Hope it makes it to more than 7 years!

Making it easier for next time

The installation was tuff if GE can make the next one using the same mounting holes and brackets it will cut alot of time off install GE changed all mounting holes and brackets with this new model and probably didn't have to.

Very Good Microwave

Very happy with this microwave. Its much quieter than previous appliances. Heats food quickly and thoroughly.

Works great

A lot of room inside. Love the automatic fan when the stove below gets warm. Things heat very even.

Good sized Microwave

I’m very happy with my new microwave. It works very well. Food is evenly heated. The controls are easy to use. The installers were quickly finished. There is plenty of room for any item I would want to cook or heat.

Part

One filter keeps falling down when opening or closing door. Poor fit. Otherwise works well.

Works great

Replaced my older model GE microwave with this one. Almost identical to last model. Better functions. Easy to install because same size. Since it’s over my stove I was surprised the fan went on when I was boiling something on my stove. New function.

Nice look

Not as easy as my previous GE microwave. You have to press harder on the selection Installers did an excellent job. Quick and easy install.

Installation was performed by a company, easily and efficiently. All features are perfect for my needs . I am very happy with the easy use of controls.

Quick select or manual times work's great and surprisingly quiet. Easy to clean also .

Great Features

This microwave serves us well. It is esthetically pleasing and easy to use. It warms our food well and cooks vegetables to perfection.

Surprise, none of the brackets or holes matched

I thought this was going to be a direct replacement for our old unit. It was exactly the same model number and color. Unfortunately, the mounting holes on top and the support bracket on the wall. We’re all different. Had to drill new holes through the tile for the base bracket and new holes through the top for the screws that were totally offset. I was not a happy camper.

Great microwave

Very happy with this GE microwave! Not easy to find white appliances anymore. Love that the ventilation has four levels. Love that I can just hit 1-5 and start to reheat some items. It also has a 30 sec button. Haven’t tried the cleaning option yet but like that it’s there. Installation was timely and smooth. In short, great microwave!

Exhaust vent and lighting poor

This microwave certainly cooks well but the additional features of the exhaust fan and the lighting under the microwave are less than desirable. The light is dim and the fan doesn't seem to pull much smoke/steam, if at all.

Flimsier make as compared to earlier units

Although the model # was the same as the set that I replaced, the new microwave feels lighter and flimsier. They have made changes to the product design (including smaller filters) likely to reduce manufacturing cost. The earlier microwave lasted a little over 5 years. Let’s see how long this one lasts.

Good micro

No complaints after using about 2 months, with all functions working well. I gave it 4 stars only because the door feels cheesy compared to the Maytag we had previously. Hopefully it lasts as long as that one did.
