Would Not RecommendThis garbage disposal was installed in a new construction home I purchased a few months ago. I'm not sure if it's working properly. I mentioned it to the contractor on our 30-day punch list but haven't had a response yet. Water drains slowly and it sound like something is wrong.

Slim design - great perfromance

Would RecommendProduct works well and is very quiet. Old one had a larger opening and water/food would be sucked in as soon as you turned it on, this one does not, you need to push larger pieces in but not a big problem.

Would Not RecommendAdmittedly, I don't know how to fix this disposal when the spinning grinders decide to break through and come loose. This is the THIRD GFC525V I have bought in recent years. The last one I purchased in 2017 or so. The same breakdown occurred with the second one as with the first one - the grinders came loose, and unit was useless. It's easier for me to just replace the unit below the neck than it is to buy another brand and have to try to dislodge and re-putty the holder in the sink. BUT, these...

Easy install
