Induction cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new cooktop works great! I feel like I'm in the kitchen about half the time bc it heats up fast and holds its temperature. And when you turn it down or off, it's immediate, like gas. It is also very attractive and easy to clean.

Burners turn off if anything is set on top of it
Never buy one again. Every time you remove a lid off of a pan and rest it on the cook top, the weight of the lid turns the burners off and you have to turn them back on. A real pain when bringing something to a boil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had my Frigidaire cooktop a couple of days, but so far it's fun and easy to use. I made hardboiled eggs yesterday and the water boiled in no time at all. It also heats my pans quickly, so I prepare all ingredients before I turn it on.

And it's surprising how much cooking starts with boiling water! Steaming veggies, kettle for coffee, cooking noodles, etc. Also, since the cooktop doesn't get hot itself it means it stays clean because nothing burns on it.
