Works great
Would RecommendNever used an induction cooktop before but so far this thing is great. Super easy to use. Quick heat up and cool down. Haven't used the "bridge" part yet but will eventually. Just be aware that you may need to buy all new pans as we did not know that the pans you cook with have to be metal.

Impressive
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first item I cooked was Ramen Noodles. I put the water in the pot, turned it on and then went about to crush the noodles. The water was boiling before I was able to get the noodles crushed. Now that was amazingly fast.

Excellent upgrade from our Radiant cooktop

Boils a large spaghetti pot in less than 5 minutes and much easier to clean since spills don't get baked on. The cooktop is quite sensative and is pickier with pans than my previous induction cooktop but that would be the only issue for me right now. Two Bad Tops
Stovetop defective from day one. Three service calls later, top deemed unrepairable. Frigidaire would not buy back, only sending new top that heated as much as 100 degrees difference from front of pan to rear of pan. Pancakes and like items over cooked one side Service tech checked unit out, said nothing could be done. I removed unit and installed my old non-Frigidaire top .

I had to cut the tile a little to install the new unit, but the installation was easy. the sleek black top is striking in our white counter tile. my wife says she likes the easy clean aspect of the new unit. You need specific cookware
Would Not RecommendWe bought this awesome cooktop which works very well but we had to go out and buy all new pots and pans to be compatible. We just bought all new pots and pans less than a year ago and now can't use any of them to cook with. This is not known to the buyer without very detailed research. Be forewarned!!!!
