This kit fixed the problem, but as often the case with plumbing, there is something that doesn't fit and need modified. I will keep looking for the gasket for the old flush valve, when/if I find it, I will reinstall that one.

Perfect fix for a leaky toilet
Would RecommendOver time, some parts degrade and our toilet was leaking. Replacing the flapper was not enough. So it became necessary to replace the flush valve. This was a perfect fit, because it included the Kohler-style gasket with three bolt holes. It was quite a bit of work, but no leak anymore.

Would Not RecommendThe water level control pipes up and down are not properly sealed, causing water to leak. I don't know why a water tank needs a water level control pipe. It just needs to be 9 inches long pipe. but it's wasting time and money by using a stupid idea that requires an o-ring and a 2-part process.
