Toilet repair

I was a little apprehensive about replacing all of the tank parts since I had never done it before. I followed the directions step-by-step. It took me about two hours to complete the job. I'm happy with the outcome.

Perfect, except one item

The gasket itself is not universal. Does not fit most Gerber toilets and will leak profusely if used.

Universal title is wrong

The kit comes with everything you need unless you have a Kohler brand toilet or one of Kohler's many off brand toilets. In very fine print inside the packaging, you are told you will need a different seal to complete the replacement.

No more leaks!!

Bought this kit for a very old stool refurbishment. Expected to run into some fitting issues because this Hobart stool was so old. Pleasantly surprised everything fit water tight and functioned as we hoped. It wasn’t that tuff to install. Instruction sheet was good for general guidelines. Not a lot of detailed information. Bottom line, it worked fine.

Easy to install, and very dependable. A quality product.

Great product

It had everything except the special tank to bowl seal needed for the Eljer tank. We used new seal and the cut off the square corners to prevent a rocking toilet tank. But out of 3 Eljer toilets, only one needed the additional help.

Very good product easy to install

Easy to install. Works great like the fact it has everything in one box.

Preferred Brand

I use the Fluidmaster over other universal brands because of the success rate I have had with it. I believe it is a better design. This is not to say that i have not had issues but they are generally a better performer in my rental properties.

Fixed broken toilet parts

Fixed our broken toilet so we did not have to replace the whole toilet.

Easy Installation

Fit great, easy to put together, has a slight leak into the bowl after flushing but I did not want to tighten down too much, it may be the flange not being tight enough. Did not have a big enough wrench to lighten it down.

Toilet Repair

The only way to repair a toilet is with Fluidmaster products. Lowe's only carries the best.

Fluid master parts are worthless

I replaced my other toilet with Korky and had not one problem. I have now had to replace parts in my other toilet, I did not look to see what I replaced them with. So at the store I just picked up Fluid Master. What a JOKE. Gaskets are cheap and leak have to go back and get a Korky. At least Korky is made in the USA.
