Great Valve but rubber washers not so much
Would RecommendI bought this to replace the original valve in a toilet that is 8 years old. The original bolts holding the tank to the stool were corroded and the washers all but deteriorated to black smudges in the tank. The new washers are black and I had a problem getting one of them to seal. I finally added some teflon plumber's paste between the washer and the tank to stop the leak. I bought a competitor's red washer and stainless bolt kit to replace the ones that came with this. The valve works great, bu...

Don't Waste Your Time or Money
Would Not RecommendThis flush valve is shorter than previous models so the toilet tank will not hold nearly as much water. Don't buy it........I'm dissappointed in Fluidmaster for even selling this product.

Would RecommendI bought this to replace the overly complex, failing flush valve in my American Standard Champion toilet. Installation was straightforward, although a little time consuming. All the hardware I needed was provided, and no special tools were necessary as the very large nut is only meant to be hand tightened.
