Would Not RecommendAfter getting a new toilet installed I noticed the flapper wouldn't stay up. A plumber tried to explain it on the phone but i had to watch a you tube video to figure it out. I just had shoulder surgery so i only have one arm. The plastic piece it's so hard to remove it's ridiculous. I had to use channel locks to remove the piece. It may be a good flapper but I'm furious cause there's no instructions. So i can't recommend this item. What's wrong with a regular design. It's like, let's make everyt...

Would RecommendI had purchased a different 2” flush valve kit to repair my toilet. Only after taking apart my toilet did I realize I actually needed a 3” flush valve kit as my tank hole was about 3.25”. I purchased this product. It was easy to install and straight forward, especially with the video that guides you through it (the instructions tell you how to access the video). I have no complaints as my toilet is now flushing perfectly and no longer runs on its own.

Would RecommendIts about as good you can get in a toilet kit, plastic which with stands many flushes get weak over time stops to work, then you buy another, doint matter how careful you sre with any kit you have to replace adventually! I wonder what a permanent fix would take?

OK replacement kit but flap gasket leaks
Would RecommendOverall the kit is OK but the flush valve gasket would not seal. The water in the tank kept slowly draining and refilling. I took the gasket off and repositioned it and it seemed to help but it is still leaking past it. I had to get a competitor's flap/seal (much thicker/softer "red" rubber) and that did the trick. Everything else is working fine. You should not have to buy additional parts.

1 out of 3 work - bad flapper seal
Would Not RecommendBought 3 to fix leaky toilet. Out of the 3 only 1 worked. The rest leaked slowly out. Used food coloring check to determine issue. Checked all connections and seals. The flapper it the issue, bad ring seals. No way to adjust the seal on the flapper or tighten. Returned them for another type.
