What Customers Are Saying
The product appears to have mixed reviews. Many customers found it easy to install and effective at fixing leaky toilets. However, some reported issues with the adhesive not holding, the flapper being too heavy, and the product not working as advertised. Customers should be aware that while the flapper may be a quick fix, it may not be a long-term solution for all toilet issues.

Would RecommendSolid design but almost literally an exact replacement part. I had to disassemble the product and do some customization to make it work. Buy if you are absolutely positive of fit and application else go elsewhere

Fluidmaster PerforMAX 2-in Plastic Toilet Flapper
Would RecommendWhen you replace the flapper and water still will not stop leaking in the toilet bowel, replace it with this type and it stopped the water from drizzling down the back of the toilet bowel. because if you do not stop the small water flow you will be wasting water and your bill will go up or will cause your pump for the well to run unnecessary. Easy to install and cost was very reasonable. Some times the flapper you replace does not always seal like you think it will, That's why i went to this a...

flap wont seal to part it comes with.
Would Not RecommendI just spent an hour moving shelves and installing this because my flap was not fully sealing. Well this one advertizes fixes leaks but it leaked way worse than my old one did. This one i could actually hear the water draining thru the flap and black ring it is supposed to seal onto. after i removed i looked and you can see how poorly it fits.. maybe i got a defective one? I was so mad wasting all that time!!!

Look at the detailed instructions first
Would RecommendI liked the design because the flapper I was trying to replace was very old and I couldn't find one designed the same way, so this one provided a workable solution. On the back it showed an easy 3 step installation process which I followed. I did make sure the surface I was attaching it to was wiped off and dry but it did not stick to it like it was supposed to. I dug out the detailed instructions and it described a rather "thorough" cleaning process that you were supposed to use before insta...

Flapper valve
Would Not RecommendIt says it's supposed to be able to adjust the volume of water for the flush. I tried it on "MIN" and "MAX" and several settings in between. The result was always the same, as soon as I released the flush handle the flapper immediately closed, with one exception when it stuck open. I tried two of them, the first came with a flush valve and it totally didn't work. Bought a second thinking the first might be defective, no it was just as bad as the first. Don't waste your time and money, get s...

Flapper does not drop back down
Would Not RecommendI installed one of these kits on a few of my toilets. Half the time the toilet is flushed, the flapper gets stuck in the open position and will not drop back down thus letting the water continue to run and drain until I take the tank lid off and tap it back down. Does not always get stuck in the open position but more than I would expect.

Easy fix
Would RecommendThis worked to stop an ongoing problem that had been frustrating me for a long time. The only thing I needed to do in addition to this was to use extra plumbers putty to get a leak free seal. Thanks for making this product!

Easy Fix!
Would RecommendI tried 2 different flappers to stop my toilet from running and neither sealed correctly. I was going to replace the entire flush valve but then came across this product. Installed in 5 minutes and toilet had no leaks!

Great Flapper!
Would RecommendLove these flappers! I have 4 unit apartment building and the water in this place is ridiculously high to begin with, but when the water bill starts climbing, time to replace flappers. You just need to do this !! So easy and my bill dropped 120% when I replaced last one. Bill started climbing again, so replacing last toilet in this building with this awesome flapper! Almost 60 yo woman, takes about 10 minutes start to finish. Any 5 yo could do this!!
