I followed the instructions, did not work. The flapper was warped coming out of the packaging and the goo gasket was warped as well. The toilet leaked worse. Something in my head said take my hairdryer and heat up everything. After I did that and everything warped back into shape and I manually reshaped the goo gasket, I reinstalled it and it worked. I don’t know if the everyday diy person would have finished the project.

Works well ... for a moment!

Nicely made, good idea - but the "adhesive" on the unit I got would not hold - it let go on the second flush. Followed directions carefully - wash with soapy water - and brush, dry, alcohol, etc. Just would not stick

Don't waist your money on this.

The adhesive doesn't work well enough on porcelain. It lasted about one week. There was nothing else at Lowe's that would work on my elijer toilet Had to order parts on line.

The Flapper is too heavy ! Requires holding the flush handle down to get a proper flush. I'm looking for another.

Worked well, had to adjust it just right or the handle would have to be held down to flush. Adjustment worked.installation was easy.

I used this to repair a non-Fluidmaster leaking flapper and it is working great. The instructions were well written and the installation was easy.

easy, functional adaptation on an old Eljer tank, unlike the last two I have used. One key point, make sure mating surfaces are ABSOLUTELY dry.....spend some time with a hair dryer, dry off the porcelain at the drain hole, and warm up the repair kit, too. It mated well and secure, is easy to adjust for flush volume, and working great since installed 3 weeks ago. Hope it stands the test of years.

Isn't explanatory enough. Add with overflow sealer

It's very important to make the overflow rim where the sticky seal goes to be bone dry. After emptying the tank and drying it with a sponge, I wipe the rim again with toilet paper. Do not press the flapper too hard onto the rim. There is a chance you could push right through the soft seal. Just use moderate pressure.
