What Customers Are Saying
The product is well-designed and comfortable to use for light gardening tasks like transplanting flowers and small plants. The depth markings on the blade are a helpful feature. However, some users reported issues with the tool's durability, with the handle bending or the tool breaking after limited use, especially in challenging soil conditions. While some were satisfied with the quality and value, others felt it was overpriced for the performance. The product may be suitable for basic gardening needs but may not be suitable for more demanding tasks or heavy-duty use.

Would Not RecommendThe entire handle is one piece of plastic with no interior structural support. The first time I shoved it in the ground to gig out a dandelion as soon as I put leverage on it the handle broke off entirely.

Excellent quality!
Would RecommendBy far the most durable garden tool I’ve ever had. Very impressed with the quality and ruggedness for hard lawn and garden tasks. 10/10 would recommend this brand
Fiskars Transplanter
Would RecommendThis is a nice tool. It fits good in the hand is not bulky. We used it to move a couple of plants and it did good. Can't wait go use it this early next spring to transplant some bulbs.
Handy little transplanter
Would RecommendThis transplanter is a bit smaller than anticipated. I like the inscribed marks on the front of the shovel as you can see how deep you are and be consistent with the depth you are digging. The hand is made of plastic but it is comfortable and I like the loop on the end of the handle to be able to hang this item up in my shed. I've included a picture with a dollar bill for size reference.
Plastic hand transplanter
Would RecommendEasy to use digs very well and has measurable marks on the blade it works great in digging I would go buy it again if another is needed, good tool for planting plants
Good little tool with a warranty
Would RecommendI haven't gotten to use it enough to see if it will rust, but I did put it through the test and it is a good small and plain hand tool. I like the light weight feel of it and the small thumb impression. It feels good in the hand. (I've yet to test it out with gloves though, I'm not fond of them.) I like the "FULL Lifetime Warranty" offered and hopefully I will never have to use it. For those needing to, my other item gives the email address as warranty@fiskars.com. I read a few of th...
Does the job!
Would RecommendNice little trowel, handy for small jobs like planting in containers, removing spent annuals or planting in soft dirt. I found the handle a little hard, not the most comfortable for people with arthritis in their hands, but all in all a great little tool. I like the black metal, which cleaned up easily with the hose after use. I'm hoping it won't rust as quickly as other trowels I've had.
Heavy Duty
Would RecommendThis is a heavy duty miniature shovel! It is strong enough to dig in compacted soil so transplanting plants and flowers is a breeze. I'm showing a comparison to a cheap tool with a wood handle. Notice the more curved blade which by design is much stronger than a flatter blade. A nice comfortable plastic handle that won't decay like wood over time. This should be a "lifetime" tool. Always buy good tools the first time and they will last, I'm certain this tool falls into that category..
Makes planting a breeze.
Would RecommendThe scoop of the transplanter is marked with measurements making planting a breeze and accurate. Guaranteeing consistency. Light weight and comfortable to hold. Love this tool for removing weeds by their roots.
Trowel / small shovel / tranplanter
Would RecommendI would call this a trowel or a small hand shovel. I used it to transplant a plant to a larger planter. Also used this to dig in my yard to find a leak in my sprinkler system. These tools are indispensable. This one is light and attractive. Great addition to my house tools.
A shovel is a shovel
Would RecommendYes a shovel is a shovel but at least this one doesn’t have a handle that bends when you dig too deep or push on it too hard. I was transplanting some plants and found it quite helpful when digging around the plant not to disturb the main root plus after getting it out taking the dirt from the roots, it worked great! It also has measuring depths on the spade to help with how deep the hole is you are digging.
Friskars garden tools
Would RecommendThis friskars transplanted is a must have in every gardener's tool shed it feels great in the hand while working around in our raised garden bed with a perfect size handle very easy to use and should last a lifetime
Small trowel - nice
Would RecommendThis small trowel is quite nice. Strong shaft and blade. Comfortable, non-slip handle. Non-stick trowel surface. Nothing to complain about. Good value.
Fisk are’s transplanter
Would RecommendGreat little shovel. Easy to use and has a convenient scale to let you know how deep you are going. Works great for flowers and other plants.the handle is comfortable in the hand. It’s tough enough to dig hard soil . A great addition to any gardner
Works great
Would RecommendI have used one of these before and they are both nice quality and work great for smaller planting jobs. The measuring feature in the shovel is convenient and helpful. I think it will last a long time as long as it’s used as it is intended to be used. It’s for flowers, small vegetables, things like that. Don’t use this to plant a bush or tree and expect it not to break.
Great quality tool
Would RecommendThe Fiskers transplanter I am using is made well, great feel and materials, and worked great for small planting and garden work. Much better quality than some cheaper alternatives but not necessarily at a premium price. Well made. Great value.
No serrated edge
Would RecommendThis review is for the Fiskars 200s 6-in Plastic Hand Transplanter. I wasn’t sure about having a plastic transplanter, the ones I’ve had in the past have all have a metal blade with serrated edges. This one does not have serrated edges that cut into the soil around the plant/bulb for easy removal. It does have the markings for depth, which is handy in particular when transplanting bulbs. The plastic blade does seem to be a good thickness so it should last awhile (depending on the type of soil in...
NIce garden transplanter.
Would RecommendGot this to replace my old plant shovel and have no problems during use. Easy to dig and scoop out old dirt and to help clean roots from plants. It's lightweight but seems sturdy.
200s 6-in Plastic Hand Transplanter
Would RecommendYes 6 inch transplanter is a great tool. I love the shape and the handle fits well in my hand. Having the depth markers on the tool is a real bonus. I would recommend this tool.
