What Customers Are Saying
The product is well-designed and comfortable to use for light gardening tasks like transplanting flowers and small plants. The depth markings on the blade are a helpful feature. However, some users reported issues with the tool's durability, with the handle bending or the tool breaking after limited use, especially in challenging soil conditions. While some were satisfied with the quality and value, others felt it was overpriced for the performance. The product may be suitable for basic gardening needs but may not be suitable for more demanding tasks or heavy-duty use.

Would RecommendVery comfortable handle and weight of tool is very user friendly. Especially like the measurements listed on the shovel to help with depth of planting. Have different Fiskars tools, never disappointed.Easy to store by hanging.
Best hand spade ever
Would RecommendI have owned several hand spades over the years but this has got to be the nicest one I have ever owned. Handle is very comfortable. Has a spot for your thumb which makes it very easy to use. Spade itself is metal unlike my previous spade which was hard plastic. I love the cm and inches on opposite sides of the spade. I have never had that before. Great feature. As you can see it has a very large hole at end of handle to hang in your shed or tool area. My wife is left handed and she said...
Cool tool
Would RecommendJust a nice garden tool for planting. The handle has an irregular shape that is comfortable to the hand. I've had these with a wood handle but this plastic material should last much longer without deteriorating and the metal shaft looks to be anchored well in the handle. The gradient marks on the blade are in metric and inches so very handy when measuring how deep to plant things. There's a hole in the handle to hang this up so I can find it next time.
Works well
Would RecommendWe wanted something to move some dirt to plant some peppermint and saw this and thought we would give it a try. It removes dirt well. The thing we really like is the depth measurements marks on it. It came in real handy. Overall it works well for our needs
It will last a lifetime!
This transplanter (or mini-shovel as the grandkids call it) is the perfect size for working around existing vegetation. It’s high-quality but not overly thick or heavy-in-hand. The angle of the scoop allows clean holes to be dug with straight sides. With measurement markers engrained on the shovel blade, you’ll know exactly the depth of your hole. The handle thickness is just right as it enables a secure and comfortable grip. A must-have for any gardener! The exceptional overall quality is stron...
Nice product
Would RecommendNice product. Works great. I have other Fiskars products and they are very durable. Would buy products from them again. Handle fits my hand nicely. Padded handle.
6-in Hand Transplanter
Not sure what to write as a hand trowel is a hand trowel...I purchased this narrower one because sometimes due to size and job. The narrower shovel seems to allow me more control of course being new, it's much sharper.
Inexpensive trowel
Would RecommendA basic inexpensive trowel at a good price, also has some depth markings in inches to help with the planting depth.
Horrible
Would Not RecommendSold at a premium price for a poor quality hand shovel. I used it twice and the handle bent and is now at a 90 degree angle. Don’t waste your money!
Useful gardening tool
It’s a sturdy tool. It seems to be well made. The scoop is metal. It’s also quite narrow.
Sturdy, affordable and exactly what I needed
Would RecommendIt held up to digging a whole lot of holes and planting bulbs and the like.
Surprisingly likeable
I moderately like the Fiskars brand, so much plastic. I really wanted a trowel made of wood and metal. I have plenty. I was in a short term bind because I couldn't find any of them in my shed, so I bought this one. With many doubts. So far, with a bit of early planting under its belt this tool has surprisingly held up. I was expecting it to bend where the handle meets the trowel, but it hasn't. I was expecting the plastic molded handle piece to be uncomfortable while using. Surprisingly...
