Helpful information to know

As I got ready to put my house for sale on the market I wanted to know these radon numbers for myself rather than get surprised later on. Easy to get set up and in place. Registered online. Shopped the package away and got my results emailed to me. Happy with the process. I feel it’s accurate and helpful to know as a home owner.

Great product, easy to use, fast test results

Unlike times when we "know what to do" and toss the instructions aside, this is one time when you really do want to read the instructions all the way through prior to using the test kit. In fact, I read it three times, just to make sure. I followed the instructions to the 'T', began test on Saturday morning, mailed it Monday morning via USPS Priority (two day, a little over $7), arrived on Wednesday (NC to TX) and had the results by Friday via email. Great test kit

very inexpensive and quick turn around to get the results. However do NOT get the 'cheaper' fedex labels advertised in the package. I paid for them but never got the label, even after contacting them.

Easy to use. Eye opening.

I put two of these in our basement in different locations, ran the tests for 96 hours. I sent them 2day priority in the same envelope using the regular post office. I got the results emailed to us in about two weeks, and then the results also came in the mail about a week after that.

First Alert Radon Test

All you do fill out the simple paperwork, put the test (its an enclosed packet) in the lowest part of the living area of your house, wait 72 hours, then mail it in (it cost me $4.50 to mail). Easy Breezy! I mailed it on Monday and received my results via email on Friday.

Very easy directions and simple to use. Not to mention it saved us over $150.00 on a “professional” test. First Alert is a great name home detection, and I’ve trusted them for years.

Don't Fall for the Expedited Testing

The package form encourages the user to send priority mail and to request expedited testing. I did use priority mail because the house being tested was in Alaska and the product needs to be shipped to Texas. I did NOT use the expedited testing and received my results via e-mail in 3 days after receipt.

Don't fool with RADON!

Radon in high concentrates in your home can cause serious health problems. This inexpensive, easy-to-use radon test kit is one way to assure your home is safe. It's inexpensive and easy. Open the test kit and place it in one of the cited locations, wait a couple of days and then put it in the envelope and mail it. I got my results by email in 10 days. Can't ask for anything easier than that.

Easy, fast and cheap as it includes lab fees

I got this because of a review of the one that is $4/less. That indicated that this one includes the lab fee in the price. The process is simple and well explained step by step. Down side it you have to mail back at your dime (actually about $7 for priority mail). I testing on Friday to Sunday, mailed it back on Monday and got the results on Sunday, rush service was also available. Also a note it appears that they need to charge $10 regulatory fee for those who live in NJ.
