Great product wish I could recharge

I bought this to replace another one (of the same design) I've had for a long time and had used. The review would be a 5 but in practical terms it does not appear to be rechargeable. Lowe's told me that do nothing with recharging. The town fire department said it was impractical to recharge it and recommended I throw my old one away.

NO BRACKET

Description, picture on box indicated it came with a strap bracket. It did not. Will be returning as this was intended for mounting in a vehicle.

Good looking Fire Extinguisher, appears good.

This fire extinguisher looks good, feels good and, seems rugged. It seems well built and appears properly charged. The only thing is I have yet to have a chance to use it as I have yet to have a fire to use it on (and it's gonna stay that way).

Be careful!

Great product but be sure to open box and check product! I purchased 4 of these for my church and opened the box to confirm the size only to find the first 2 were mot charged. One the pin was out and the other the pin was in - no charge from the factory! So I had to get an employee to assist me because the remaining supply was on the top of the rack. So here's the bad part.... I told him about the two discharged ones and he put them back on the shelf for someone else to be troubled with!

I bought this for myself to give me peace of mind if I ever do have to use it!! It is well made, heavy duty, and fully charged! I feel better just knowing I have easy access to an extinguisher now--feel prepared!!

Put out a street post fire!

I saw a street light on fire that was 15 ft up in the air and this decive stopped it quickly! Im not happy I have to buy another one but it works!

I bought this fire extinguisher in the store. When I got it home and opened the box, it was in excellent condition. The pressure gauge was in the green zone and the safety strap on the activation pin was in place. A wall hook mount was included (but you need to provide the screws for the mount, if you decide to use it).

had for 3 years, nobody wants to service it

Having a fire extinguisher is a great idea but their warranty is misleading. I have the 10 pound model also described as "rechargeable" and after 2 years the gauge was reading low. (never used, just mounted to the garage wall) I contacted First Alert and all they said was the unit should be service annually, they didn't care about the low gauge reading or a possible leaky valve or seals. I can't imagine what their 12 year warranty covers since they didn't even mention the only two possible prob...
