First Alert Fire Extinguisher

Well made, easy trigger mechanisim with clear operational instructions

Hope I never know how good it is?

This unit comes with good instructions and tips and a wall bracket. After that, it just hangs on the wall - and does a great job of just being there. So, I hope I never can write a review on how it actually works. I'll be happy to just let it hang there. I wish I could sell a product by the thousands that no one wants to use.....

Good homeowner fire extinguisher

Seems to be a fine unit. First Alert fire extinguishers usually last 10 or 15 years before they indicate the need to recharge.

Excellent Fire Extinguisher for around the house.

Thank goodness I have not had an occasion to use the fire extinguisher but just knowing a quality extinguisher is in the home is a comfort. In a recent recall from another company I found all 3 of the small plastic top extinguishers were on a recall or too old and not sure they would work properly if we had a fire. On the wall

Fire extinguisher on the wall hopefully I never have to find out how good it works! Easy to mount and nice heavier duty than home extinguisher, valuable here in my bookstore.

Bought as an additional extinguisher for our Recreational Vehicle. Hopefully I will never have an occasion for using it

First Alert Heavy Duty Plus Fire Extinguisher

I haven't used it yet! I hope that I never have to! But it should be just the ticket for my shop. It is a shop for the farm and shouldn't require much maybe for the welding bench. And whatever else that we may be working on. I am a retired volunteer fireman and I know that everywhere needs a fire extinguisher.

I work in a shop with lots of wood and other flammable materials like finishing compounds Needed a fire extinguisher handy just in case. This one fits the bill. Large enough to really help with a small fire. Unlike other reviews I've read on this unit, it was full from the box and proudly hanging just outside my shop, ready for use.

It's pretty self explanatory. The only thing that isn't obvious is that it comes with a wall mount hook. So it met my needs perfectly.
