The various selections available was excellent, and included exactly what I needed. The price was very good as well. The installation also went very well. I got the product I needed, at a good price, what else could you ask for?

A solid replacement for the Nest one

Like the sleek aesthetics and the functionality with Google Home. I miss my Nest one so this is the next best thing.

False Alarms

After just days installed, this detector alarmed for smoke present with nothing going on in the house. No cooking, furnace not running. Kept triggering after repeated resets. Removed and boxed and put in the garage and it continued to alarm for hours.

I have been thrown out of the Nest

It is the alternative to the much better Nest Protect Alarm which included a night light. I had no choice since Google discontinued their much better product. This will have to do.

Can't stop false alarms; can't get support!

I bought 13 of these alarms and several have repeatedly issued false alarms. The 800 number for warranty claims is not answered. DO NOT BUY THESE!

New Simple and Advanced

I ordered these smoke detectors to replace my builder grade and old ones. The smoke detectors are Wi-Fi enabled, and also detect carbon monoxide. The new detectors come with everything you need including updated plug stubs to replace any existing wires already installed so the new ones work properly. Installation takes about 15 minutes per smoke detector. Set up is super easy also. I used the First Alert app to sync all of my smoke detectors together and get automatic update on my cell phone now...

Great Nest alarm replacement.

It’s a great replacement for the old Nest Smoke/CO2 detectors. It connects easily to both Mest and Google Home and other Mest products.

Smoke and Stack

The device feels solid and high quality. No major issues noted. The Google Nest functionality is nice but a little annoying to set up in practice. As long as the device works as stated, I'm happy.

Easy to install and had everything you need The app itself i had more issues with. Obviously haven't had a chance to check the smart functions but looks to be well developed.

I'm very happy with this unit. I like the subtle look that doesn't stand out much and is very clean looking. The install book was fantastic and very helpful for installation placement as someone who had no idea the best spot in a room for it. It syncs with my Google Nest system which I love. First Alert fully compatible with GOOGLE HOME app

I have (5) of the older Google Nest smoke detectors and one of them alerted me that it had reached the end of its 10 year life. Since Google no longer makes the SMOKE they directed me to purchase this one because it is 100% compatible with the Google HOME app and my existing detectors.

I work far from home and thought the system of First Alert would add more peace to mind. This is a really great smoke detector combo CO2 monitor with real time app support. Easy to set up with the app and it guides you step by step. Feel more comfortable this is protecting our home!

Good combo detector with smart features

This smoke/carbon monoxide detector seems very well built and should last a long time. Installing it is not hard at all, even if you don’t have any electrical skills. Granted, my current detectors are hardwired, so I just disconnected those wire nuts and reconnected them with the new unit. The mounting plate has multiple ways to affix the unit to the ceiling, which is nice when they may be able to mount into an electrical box or a ceiling joist. Smart Home Compatible Alarm

The alarm was easy to set up with the First Alert App and can work with other smart home warning sensors (water issues etc...). It is a really nice looking alarm, and it's great that you can get notifications while away from home. The only downside it that the mounting plate has a narrower distance between the screws from older model first alert alarms so you will likely have to drill new holes. Other than that it was a straightforward installation.
