does not last, tons of false alarms
Would Not Recommendbought about ten of these when I moved into my house 4 years ago. they all go off at random times and four have already been replaced. always when people are sleeping and never when there's smoke or dust or anything. unfortunately it seems that all box stores carries this junk

every single one is defective
Would Not Recommendwe moved into a new house bought 4 of these and the first one went bad we thought we had a carbon monoxide leak. Called the fire department, they came with their detectors, nothing was found. Slowly each one has been going off and alerting us to smoke that isn't there. (no cooking fumes either.) I'm really frustrated as these aren't cheap and we marketed to last 10 years.

Love the two in one
Bought 4 and needed an additional one for my basement. I followed instructions and replaced all of them in my own, so is very easy to install. They are pretty pricy with a 10 year battery. But cant put a price in safety.
