Arrived quickly! Lowes is great! It was easy to install. The print on the instructions could be larger! Goodness my reading glasses and a magnifying glass and still very difficult to see! It's been a week -- so far so good. No false alarms. (Knock on wood!)

Easy to install but directions on drilling were hard to follow. It’s best to note the offset in the bracket for when the detector locks in- and then drill the holes, put the bracket in and just tighten the screws down, rather screws first and rotating the bracket in place.

No batteries to replace

Very good quality. All mounting hardware was included. The fact that there's no battery to replace makes it great for hard to access areas. Turn it on and forget it. Just remember to replace it in 10 years!!

Works Great

I will buy two more when I finish my basement. I installed two of them this past weekend and I tested one of them with a piece of burning newspaper. It worked as expected. If you sleep through one of these, you are obviously a heavy sleeper.

Easy to install

These smoke/ carbon dioxide detectors were very easy to install. We put up three of them in less than an hour. They seem very sensitive as we had one go off when a griddle that was pre-heating had some smoke from oil residue that was burning off.
