Good protection

This will keep us alerted if carbon monoxide is present in the house.

Battery goes bad

About every 6 months the battery is drained which I don’t understand since it’s a back up and the unit is plugged in to outlet. Invariably the battery fails during the night and the unit begins its screeching alarm until you get out of bed and unplug it and then you have no monitoring until the battery is replaced. Bad design.

It works

Tested in garage and co detected pretty quickly. The display is hard to read when the detector is below eye level. Other than that though it's good piece of mind.

worked and potentially saved my family

We lost power due to a snow storm. we have a built in generator outside. while we were sleeping we heard the alarm go off because it detected carbon monoxide. come to find out the exhaust fumes were blowing from the wind into a small opening in a basement window we had no idea was slightly open. without this alarm who knows what could have happened. I definitely recommend this device.

Propane Detector

Selected as it detects propane gas. Very easy to install and plugs in easily and has a battery back up.

Don't go to sleep without one!

I have several CO alarms in my house because we have natural gas for all appliances. We had neighbors who had a very close call. No one with gas, propane, or oil should be without at least one CO detector/alarm.

Easy to set up. One improvement would be a baseline CO level indication.

These are great additions to any home with a furnace. If fact we talked our brother into getting 2 for his home!

Easy to install and use!

I purchased this product because the standard detectors don't pick up on natural and propane gases. I have a gas stove so I felt it only prudent to make sure family is safe. It's also super easy to install in any electrical outlet. No screws, no running to get a chair to stand on to mute it if needed. Too easy.

I bought this as a replacement for my previous FA detector. Original detector displayed end of life for the detector. This detector has been very reliable and with a fair price. Highly recommend it

Feel safer now

We recently had a propane leak at our home and are so glad to have this product just in case of another one. We always had propane detectors in our travel trailers and never thought about one for the house. Our Fire Chief responding to the 911 call recommended getting one and now we can sleep a little better knowing we are protected.
