Would RecommendWork great, but I needed an adapter for each one as I did not want to rewire all 9 of my hardwire smoke detectors. I used Kiddie last time and it is a different connector (figures). Luckily I found 12 packe of Kiddie to First alart addapters. Otherwise, great item

Replace aging hardwired detectors
Would RecommendOur current 6 Kidde detectors were at their 10 year lifespan and needed replacing. This contractor pack was the perfect answer. Easy to install if you are handy at all. Less than 10 minutes each to remove and reinstall the new detector. They all talk to each other exactly as they should.
