prone to failure

I have 10 of these in a 5 bedroom house . we replace them every 2 or 3 years to be careful. but every summer at least once or twice the whole house goes off in the night. no one has a good solution. warranty just gets you a new unit that is just as prone to failure. found that about 20% of these go bad in the first six months.

Easy to install, work great.

I bought several of these to replace old ones. The install was simple and the new models seem to work perfectly. They look better as well.

Mute doesn't work well

Installed this in my kitchen and it activated when I opened my stove. OK, shouldn't be a problem. It has a mute button. Pushed it and it only muted for a few seconds. Kept coming back on.
