Its required a lot more spackle to cover than tape

This is hard to use. I ended up just using each side by itself as a patch.

I was unsure about covering such large holes in my ceiling (where I had removed recessed lighting), but this product did a fantastic job. Others came in to look at the ceiling and couldn't even find the spots!
