Would RecommendThe convenience of covering the area where needed without necessity of a lot of joint compound. Due to water seepage around window, drywall severely damaged/actually had a hole. Also had additional damage to drywall facing. Purchased 4x4 and 8x8 patches. Used 8x8 patch as it covered hole and damaged facing. Did a great job covering area. Applied coat of joint compound, sanded and re-applied another skim coat. Sanded, primed and painted repair area. - could not even tell there had been wall...

Quick, simple way to patch a 6" or smaller hole
Would RecommendFor small holes in drywall, this is much a faster and simpler way than screwing some backer wood behind the hole and then cutting a piece of scrap drywall (which you probably won't have lying around) to fit the hole and then taping around it and then putting several coats of "mud" over it all. Simple directions on the package about ho Wed to clean the area first and then stick this aluminum mesh/screen patch over it. Always best to put as tin a coat of "mud" on as possible rather than too muc...
Weak adhesive
Would Not RecommendI could not get this to stick to the drywall. The adhesive seemed weak, and it did not coat the entire back side of the sheet. I used another product before switching to this one, and it stuck perfectly. I shouldn't have switched.
