Hands down best screws for a super hold!

As expensive as they are the screws do the job and do it right!

Great, not as good, OR as expensive as lag screws.

Have their place, you don't always need mega expensive lag screws. Consult your local engineer for guidelines.

I use these head lock screws to attach the2×4 to the 4×4 post To build my fence during Hurricane Irma our fense was the only one that stayed up during the hurricane

Excellent strength in a narrow diameter fastener

The small diameter makes drilling pilot holes unnecessary (except in selected circumstances). Screw flutes/threads hold very well. Strong, larger head holds material firmly.

HeadLok is by far the best and easiest to use anchoring screws I’ve ever used since 1966 when I first started building

Lag bolts

Great replacements for 3/8 lag bolts when using on a deck. Judt don't be surprised when some of the torque heads didn't get molded correctly and you can't fit the bit in to use them at all.

Super heavy duty

Bought these to use for landscape timber wall. Loved the strength and durability of these, along with the bit for my cordless screwdriver that was included in the box!

Planter boxes

I used the to help hold together a 12 in x 42 ft long planter box. They worked great to hold the landscape timbers to the framing

Works where other screws failed

Originally used them to hang kitchen cabinets. This time to build garden boxes out of 2 x 10 lumber. Drywall and even deck screws will snap when working with treated lumber. These didn’t break. We will see if they rust. The only bad thing was there was not a bit in the box.

Excellent fasteners

Very high quality fasteners, though the bits not so much. It only takes a few slips to round over the bits teeth. I put up a free standing 8x8 deck with these and the connection seems to be excellent and solid.

Great fasteners but with limitations

They work GREAT if you have enough wood for them to bite into, as the threads could be further up the shaft, had to go back and get the other size 2.75 inch to redo a couple of locations where the threads pulled through and lost grip. I like the big head but it does not countersink itself.
