Key benefits include faster and less messy installation, the ability to firmly set posts without concrete, and performance in a wide temperature range. Used for mailbox.
Would RecommendThis was easy to use and so far has proven to be a great anchor for my mailbox.
Learning curves
Would RecommendThere are some learning curves. These set up better and much faster when they are warm. When youre mixing it just wait till it starts to expand then put it in your whole. Make sure you set up 4 support stakes before you pour otherwise the foam can push your 4x4 in the hole out of level amd even shift its position. They are nice not having to haul in concrete. You can build on them shortly after set up. And they water proof your post for you.

Does the Job!!!
Would RecommendI bought a bag of this when I replaced my mailbox. I didn't want to buy a bag of concrete just for this small job and thought I'd give this a try. It worked amazing well and my mailbox post is standing strong and sturdy. I highly recommend this product.

Worked well
Would RecommendA section of my privacy fence broke during high winds and I needed to quickly replace 3 4x4 posts to repair the fence (3 dogs and a doggie door to the back yard). It mixed quickly in the bag and 10 minutes after pouring into the hole with the 4x4’s, I was re-attaching the fence panels. It has since held very well in heavy rain and high winds. Great product that sets fast, but much more expensive than concrete.

Two bags to fill 36" deep 6in dia hole with 4x4
I bought two bags to install two 4x4 posts for a gate. Holes were 6" diameter and 36in deep. Per the instruction on the bag I would need one bag per post. I followed the directions perfectly and product was stored in 68 degree house just prior to using outside which was 55 degrees. Went to the store to get two more bags for the other post but I saw a similar product from Sika that was less than $1 more. I decided to try that product and it worked perfect - 1 bag for one post - it expanded f...

Didn't expand hardly at all
Would Not RecommendI had a 3 ft deep hole for 4x4 post After pouring in the first bag it barely expanded after 10 minutes so I poured in a second bag. AFter 1/2 hour I only have about 8-10 inches of expansion. I don't know how this product gets rave reviews but form me it wasn't even close to the expense. Other issues I saw, one my color was yellow not grey like every video I see of this stuff. Also, you have to spend a LOT of time leveling and bracing the post before you pour it. I spent 2 hours setting one ...

Great for Mailbox posts.
Would RecommendI was a little worried that it wouldn't setup since it was 33 degrees today here in Tennessee. The reaction produces heat so as long as you keep it inside your house until you are ready to mix you won't have any problems. After about 30 seconds it puffed up. It took about 5 minutes to set and I had the mailbox mounted and done after 15 more minutes of letting it harden. It seems solid enough. This will be my new go-to for any posts that I don't expect to last more than 5-10 years.
