Blitz ceiling fans.

We chose (5) of the Blitz fans because the DC motors use about 80% - 90% less electricity than conventional AC fans. The fan is very modern looking, absolutely silent and has zero wobble. We hired an installer who was familiar with the fans and he no trouble installing them. The assembly and installation took about 45 minutes per fan. If you are installing multiple fans be sure to use different frequency code settings.

Good fan with some design flaws

I own three of these so overwall I like them. Pros Silent motor Efficient - users very little electricity Pairs easily with Bond Bridge for automation Nice design that fits well in most rooms Moves a good amount of air, even at low speeds Cons The install needs work Instrucrions are difficult to read Too many wires. Other fans have two or three wires to connect. This has six or more and some of that is just connecting the receiver to the motor. This should be all be done in the motor housing....

Remote control issues.

The remote is very small and difficult to use in the dark. After installing the fan and following the instructions for pairing the remote to the fan receiver, I had a difficult time getting the two to recognize each other. I had to repeat the process several times over the next few days because either the fan, light or both stopped responding. Fingers crossed, they have worked for the last week.

Full price for junk

Mother in-law purchased this fan (8/6/2022) for my wife and I for my birthday. I opened it today (8/8/2022) to remove and replace old fan in our bedroom. First thing I see is a great value ziploc bag with a random assortment of hardware. Odd right? Went through and inventoried the rest of the fan box. No instruction manual, had to look up on the manufacture website. Missing 2 set screws, 1 bolt for blade, the fan motor body and down rod were scratched and used. Need more than a contractor to assemble this fan

This fan is a pain in the neck to assemble and install. Motor is variable, or at least that’s how it acts, and you can’t tell if it’s going to work or not. We would not purchase again. In fact we will steer away from a Fanimation fan. Sorry but that’s the truth!
